17 November 1977 a group of friends constitutes the Literary Group Acàrya. (Acàrya, Sanscrito term that it means: or the one who, or the place where it is taught with the example). The association without scope of lucro resolves to do to promote and to diffuse every expression of culture being programmed cultural initiatives to local, provincial, regional and national level.

A small small group of young fans and less young people that found again themselves near one know it of Via Vittani 35 in order discussing about poetry and several cultural topics trying to improve itself through mutual a dialectic comparison decide to found the Literary Group Acàrya.

An attention detail always is turned to the quality of the programs that we agree collectively to four-month cadence. Even if the majority of the associates preferred to compose backs in language and vernacolo the programs embraces several aspects of the cultural world of the literature, the history, music and the cinema.

It is from remembering at last that literary competitions with remarkable have been organized in the time various happening for the callback of the names that figured in the giudicatrici commission. Names like; Carl Bo, Guilty Domenico, Susanna Agnelli, Grillandi Maximum, Federico Roncoroni, George Barb Squarotti, Piero Hill and others of similar bore.
 From more than a decade we participate to the organization of the dialectal poetry Competition Lombardic-ticinese Insubria Prize in collaboration with the stick of classes 1933 and 1951.
In 2006 and 2007 we have organized a competition dedicated to young people under 35 that you can visionary in the appropriate pages.

Our first President makes the scrittrice Gisella Adzes, then followed Dr. Gianni Amarù, therefore the P.I. Graziella Molinari, Ing Giordano Adzes, the rag. Aldo de' Giorgi, of new Graziella Molinari and from various years Antonio Ceruses.

The Literary Group Acàrya, in these trent'anni has offered to Como a qualitatively appreciable cultural programming. Thousands of comaschi and not, they have made use of our initiatives that have always met the approval and the approval of they have followed those who us or that they are taken part like hosts to our manifestations.

After several peregrinations currently the association organizes every friday in center near the Circoscrizione nr. 6 to Como in Way Large ones 21 or near other associations where indicated in the program.
